Following a 15-year career as a leading literary publicist, since 2014 I’ve been hired by the biggest publishing houses as their Northern California “author escort” during their busy Spring and Fall seasons. So far, I’ve personally shuttled more than one hundred best-selling authors during their San Francisco book tours.
So much more than an Uber driver, author escorts also prepare clients for their media appointments, keep them on schedule with multiple commitments, manage the actual book signings, handle fans and crowd control, facilitate industry connections, recommend restaurants or down-time activities, and always keep them calm and happy!
